As an aside, I have recently up/downgraded to Boinc 6.10.60. When the work is available, that version just blazes through up/downloads. It really is a joy to watch if you have been lumbered with a later version.
Just my opinion, your mileage may vary.

Are we seeing more problems with the Scheduler?
Started getting quite a few "Project has no tasks available" responses again, and when work is allocated it's only one or 2 WUs, i could use a few hundred before i'll hit the limits.
And over the last 12 hours inbound traffic has been slowly climbing, even though the number of results returned per hour has remained fairly steady, and the amount of Work in progress has actually declined slightly.

Don't know if there has been any change in the limits....not there yet.

But the kitties are smiling a bit more than they have been in a while.

Nope, no changes. I hit the limits sometime this afternoon, and have been maintaining near them ever since. Downloads are flowing easily, uploads too. Most scheduler requests get a decent assignment. I'm happy for now :)

Happy here too. Seems to have tightened up a bit in the last hour or so....getting a lot of no work available.
But for a while there I was getting gobs of work....had a 67 WU hit a while back.....LOL.

No limits here yet, but then again, the kitties are fast crunchers.
Gotta run fast to stay with the kitties.

Looks like things are taking a dive again.

No work to scheduler requests, and the Crickets are winding down.

Hopefully, it's just a chron job or something temporary, it was looking very good up until a short while ago.

I saw the writing on the wall with many work requests going unrequited.
It was only after a bit that I realized the Crickets had stopped singing too.

I just tried to report tasks and got the following response:

That's unusual for a Wednesday! Maybe tyhe scheduler problem needs more than a kick.

Somebody must be in the lab. The server status page updated at 8:10 PT and shows almost everything disabled. All that's left is the Boinc Master and Replica databases, Data-driven web pages, and the download and upload servers. And now the blue Crickets are dropping too, even though they stayed up when the green ones went to sleep.

Let's just hope it's a simple kick and gets going again.

Edit: We're doomed. Now it will take until at least mid January 2012, before the system is back up again....

Edit: almost everything is up, the most significant exception being download2 on vader.

Looks like Vader(DL2) and AP splitters are the only items offline now.
