Hold on to yer hats, kitties.....
Most of the recently downloaded work on the Frozen 920 is shorties again.
And the cricket graphs are showing a steady upswing in uploads.
We may have another shorty screamer on the way.

That, and the server status page has not updated for a little over 2 hours.
That is never a good omen.

Meeeeeoh oh.

Oh maaaan

Yeah...
Which is where my beef with the current quota limits comes in.
Instead of 1600 tasks at 11 minutes or so apiece, I end up with 1600 tasks at 2 minutes or so apiece. Divided by 4 GPUs.....you do the math.

And then the servers choke on the shorties...and then...then...then......
Then I start to get really ticked off.

Let's get the dang Boinc server code fixed and let Boinc get back to determining what a cache should be based on run time, not quantity of WUs.

Well, good luck with that. At least my 4 are producing to full capacity.
Or at least trying to with the limit situation.

Mine would be too, but I just run 12 hours a day on 1 PC with 6 gpus inside.

Yeah Mark mentioned that almost 3hrs before your post but other than that page not being updated everything else seems to be running fine so far as I'm still receiving work when I'm not on the limit.

Cheers.

Just as a celebration to the Christmas spirit, I have started up a Super computer which I haven't been running for a very long time. Watch out there all credit hunters, now I'm going to catch you all :-)

Nah, no AP's for that one. I'm so old that I at least want to have a fair chance completing the work I download. :-)

Well, at least you shouldn't have to do much button pushing to keep that ol' boy busy.

Might have been a false alarm. It looks as if it's coming back...

The Frozen 920 is still banging up against the limits...
Seems to have recovered for the time being.

I have a 1/2 AP left to crunch. Maybe Santa will bring me a bunch. Unless you grab them, lol.

I've got about six and a half days worth of astropulse left. Since it's been soooooooo long since such an occurrence, I shall sit here and celebrate with a snifter* of brandy :)

I have a dwindling cache.. but that's because I changed from a full 10-day to preparing for a new rig "soon" by setting the cache to 1-day. I've got about 4 days left still stockpiled.
