Not here. There was some indication of additional rummaging in/after last weeks maintenance. Oh, I rather thought that given the enormity of the conversion, there would be some niggling little forgotten places that the problem would be embedded in that would arise as time went on... I was just wondering if they THOUGHT they had completed the conversion....LOL. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

And we're baaaaack. Starting up, anyway. Reporting back online....not much in the way of work going out yet. But hopefully that will start up as things sort. Kitties pacing..................... "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

Very bad at reporting as well. I guess this is wingpersons not reporting as well. Could be, but I'm mainly seeing quite a bit of work not being validated....the results are in but not very much else is happening, in my case. Probably quite a few others, too, I suspect. Not much work being dished out, either. Don't take life too seriously, as you'll never come out of it alive! |

The network graphs are showing traffic, but every request my machines make results in "Project has no tasks available" messages. Even this early after an outage i'd expect to get some work on some requests, not no work on all. Grant Darwin NT |

Ya gotta remember that you are one of many thousands of users requesting work.... It's the luck of the draw to hit the scheduler when there happens to be work ready to issue in the feeder cache. I have been getting a few hits across 8 rigs, sometimes with only 1 WU issued, sometimes with a small handful at a time. But many misses as well. After the outage, it will take some time to settle again. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

I'm good for about four days of crunching. Then I shall be complaining :) Member of the People Encouraging Niceness In Society club. |

I'm finally beginning to get enough GPU units for about an hour! I'm happy with anything I can get! :D Steve Warning, addicted to SETI crunching! Crunching as a member of GPU Users Group. GPUUG Website |

I'm crunching astropulse only on CPU, how someone gets enough for their GPUs in the current troubles to last more than a day I have no idea. Member of the People Encouraging Niceness In Society club. |

I'm crunching astropulse only on CPU, how someone gets enough for their GPUs in the current troubles to last more than a day I have no idea. Well I have 5 AP wu's that I do on the gpu, boinc says 7 days 18hours for all 5, Yet they take much less time, that may be inflating the amount some. Savoir-Faire is everywhere! I'm crunching astropulse only on CPU, how someone gets enough for their GPUs in the current troubles to last more than a day I have no idea. I know I even up to the limits, I have less than a day. Now I'm way below the limits, and I'm getting used to running out 2-3 times a week. It's a constant juggling act, between enabling or diableng CPU work, in order to get just GPU units. Even with a huge amount of intervention keeping at or near the limits is darn near impossible. Steve Warning, addicted to SETI crunching! Crunching as a member of GPU Users Group. GPUUG Website |

I'm crunching astropulse only on CPU, how someone gets enough for their GPUs in the current troubles to last more than a day I have no idea. 143 MB wu's and 5 AP wu's or 148 wu's total and I'm only crunching for 8 hours per night, 2days 2:33:21(Hours:Mins:Seconds)... I'm aware of that, but as i mentioned there were a lot more misses than usual considering the length of the outage & the amount of time since it had come up. Grant Darwin NT |
