I tried that 20 years ago with my ex, but she never did. That was also the view of her Mother, who I remained in frequent contact with until she left us last year, aged 99.

It took me many years to understand that fundamental difference between men and women. Men will share a problem in hopes of finding a solution. Women will share a probelm in hopes of sympathy, or just for the heck of it.

But back on topic. I'm developing a major admiration for Bill Frissell.
