send me a screen shot of what you're seeing to webaster@gpuug.org

Oops, typing fail - webmaster@gpuug.org, though some would suggest I add a "d" at the end instead of an "m" in the middle.

Happy Holidays everyone!

Thanks to our generous donors we are now down to the final $2,000 ($1980) to go in order to fill up the raid array. As soon as we get these remaining funds in hand, we can not only provide a fully populated raid array for Seti, but we can begin work on a new download server.

Please consider donating to the raid hard drive project even if you can only spare a few dollars. http://www.gpuug.org/catalog/28

You have to wonder how many people who never see this forum or the GPUUG forum might contribute if they knew.

I thinking about donating now with paypal, but the security certificate is wrong on the gpuug page. Could you check that out? Hostname and cert name is different.

Problem solved - the issue was mixed content due to the translate block, which has now been removed on the checkout page.

We're only $1560 away from finishing up our RAID fundraiser. If you can spare a few pesos, please add them to the coffer. Thanks everyone!

The JBOD our donors purchased was mentioned in Matt's recent Tech Update (with pictures). http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=66635

Go check it out.

We're also only $1560 away from filling up this array. Please donate a few pesos toward the cause if you are able so we can move onto building SETI a new Download/Upload server.

OK,

I've donated 25$... not much but more than nothing at all, even though i think that the SETI@Home method is a waste of time.

460 is such an untidy number. There ya go, 400 looks much nicer!

And thanks to Graham, we've reached our goal for the RAID array. We'll have the new fundraiser up asap.

I will call our supplier for drives on Monday and get things rolling. My hope is SETI will have the remaining 21 drives by Friday of this coming week.

Thanks again to everyone who was able to make this project such a success!
