Over the last 12 hours or so, the upload/download issues seem to have disappeared! I am not sure what changed, but whatever it was, it worked. I finally have a full cache, and no download stalls at all. Kudos! Dublin, California Team: SETI.USA |

I finally have a full cache, and no download stalls at all. Kudos! From the cricket graph and the status page, they seem to have stopped producing/allocating AstroPulse WUs then, so the load on the outgoing traffic eased away from maxed-out. That's always good for response times. I had a huge number of download failures the last few days, due to congestion at Berkeley and at work -> time-outs, I guess. |

When I last looked at the SSP >4 hours ago, all the AP splitters were Not Running, but the splitter status column showed one AP still in progress. I finally have a full cache, and no download stalls at all. Kudos! I've practically stopped requesting work, while the change in runtime estimates (and the splurge of extra work requests on Tuesday night/Wednesday) works its way out of my systems. And I didn't see many shorties when I was requesting work - that always helps, too. |

Kudos: Crunching again. :) Best machine I have ever had. Gripes: Had to restore windows twice since rejoining and I suspect the virus software itself plus windows updates have messed with my system. Feel bad about all the corrupted wu's. Maybe third times the charm. Spent some good times trying to make sure programs on this machine do not make decisions without asking me first. |

gripe: 'grad student code' kudos: all the donors to GPUUG, so we can help upgrading project hardware. I'm not the Pope. I don't speak Ex Cathedra! |

2012 gripe Still no Linux SETI@home cuda app for nvidia cards. NO gripes; Cudo's to LUNATICs . and SETI@Home (also BÊTA) staff, for their continious efforts to get things UP-& RUNNING, tipp to the hat! The v0.40 CPU; CUDA and OpenCL (AMD/ATI), works beautifull, after finding correct settings for MultiBeam and AstroPulse work. |

Gripe: Have not received CPU work units for over a month now. Kudos: My GPU's are crunching away:) Is anyone else "NOT" getting assigned CPU work units? |

Gripe: Have not received CPU work units for over a month now. Usual cure: from your account page click on "Seti@Home Preferences" then go to "Separate preferences for [home|school|work]" and uncheck "Use NVIDIA GPU" and save preferences. This will stop BOINC from asking for GPU work, but still crunch what it has received. Tip: Set this up permanently for "school", say, and then use the "Computer details" page for individual computers to swap them in and out of the location whenever you do/do not want GPU work. |

Gripe: Have not received CPU work units for over a month now. Do your GPU tasks happen to be running in High Priority too? Claggy |

I was getting normal CPU units/astropulse units, etc until a couple weeks ago. Since then, the only thing I'm getting are GPU work units. I haven't changed anything in my preferences, and I have plenty of CPU time available for WU's. Not sure what the problem is at this point. |

Gripe: Since upgrading to 7.0.25(x64) wxWidgetsVersion 2.8.10 my average daily credit has dropped from 8k to 2K I also get a lot of "computation error" - about 15% Most WUs now seem to be in excess of 4 hours Kudos: Lots of work - smooth as |
