As for other tours... We already did an east coast US tour recently (that's what ate up all of my September), but are trying to set up a west coast tour for January/February (going as far east as Denver, perhaps - not sure about Reno). Then maybe a short South American tour in the spring. Then more stuff next fall...

For the record this band isn't my main musical project, just one that's much more popular and I'm enjoying being part of it and they're enjoying having me. Other bands I may be performing with can always be found on my home page.

And yes, that song sounds like "Halloween" because it is in fact a cover of the theme to "Halloween."

I'd like to have Matt and his band come to Reno. We got this cool place that brings in all sorts of bands. Maybe I'll shoot Matt a PM and see if he can't maybe get in contact with them and come here. I'd love to hear his music in person!

Thanks for the kind words Alex, yes indeed it was a very pleasant evening all round, and I have to thank Alex for three things. Firstly he was good company and it was a pleasure to meet him. Secondly he organised and paid for the tickets and wouldn't take re-imbursement. Thirdly, he bought twice as much beer as I did! So with his agreement I'm going to make an appropriate donation on his behalf to the Seti Fall Drive.

Meeting such dedicated Setizens as these two, just proves to me how much loyalty people give to this project no matter where in the world they may be. Especially when you think that it was only intended to run for two years, but by popular demand, carried on, and you can see why. Seti History

Not only is he a talented musician, a good ambassador for Seti, but an all round great guy.

I wish I could tell you Chris is exaggerating here (a little critisism is always more believable), but I can't. If anything, I'd say Chris is downplaying his compliments a bit! And you guys should of heard Matt's description of Eric, full of admiration and enthusiasm, every bone in your body just knew he meant every single word. I couldn't possibly tell you how comforting it is to know that the project so dear to us all, is in such capable and deserving hands.

Even the gig was awesome! But I'd say that having practically grinded my Link Wray vinyl albums all through High School, and since Faith No More's "Woodpecker from Mars" is one of my favorite instrumental tracks of all time. A lot of old-school bouzouki/baglama/oriental riffs in there as well, all delivered with a wacky, upbeat attitude I'm just a sucker for!

I've thanked them both but I'll say it here too: Kudos to Matt for so effortlessly and willingly coming out to bombard us with all things SETI, and kudos to Chris for needing no convincing whatsoever to come along:) Thanx for an unforgettable night!

Awesome, looks like you had a great night. Glad he's having a great time and a holiday to chill out. Good pics and you got your shirt signed :) That tune sounded quite familiar, then again, it is nearly Halloween :)

The band was on from 9.30pm until 11.00pm, and by the time we had met him it was nearly midnight. I would have stayed longer but I had to travel back to South London. Managed to get the last bus home from the rail station at 1am !! He told me that he is having a great time, and will be vacationing in France after the tour. I wished him well on behalf of you all.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Last night, myself and a Setizen colleague, Alex Storey, had the privilege of attending in London, one of Matt Lebofsky's gigs on his European tour with the Secret Chiefs. It was a very good evening, which was topped off by meeting Matt in person afterwards, and he even autographed my Seti Anni tee shirt :-)

He was pleased that we had taken the trouble to go and see him, and said he was always happy to meet supporters of the project. Not only is he a talented musician, a good ambassador for Seti, but an all round great guy. Here are a few pics which I have permission fron Matt and the band to post.
