No problems uploading/downloading or keeping more work on hand than the pc can crunch at one time,

BUT,

I would like to see this wu disappear from the Invalid section. After my result was found wanting, it validated when the next result came back and then a 3rd possibly valid result came in and it is still waiting for validation. Six+ weeks now of waiting...

Doesn't Eric, Matt or SOMEONE have a script they can run to clean up these sort of overlooked wu's in the d/b??

or maybe a validator will find it eventually and process it normally?

I highly doubt it, too. I have four stuck APs for a long time now.

Uploads are getting flakey, and the last half dozen or so Scheduler requests have timed out.

But of course....it's almost the weekend.

My last one to upload took quite some time to go through, that was
about 6 minutes ago, but I did not get the "timed out".

Uploading, while still a bit iffy, isn't the problem.
The problem is we can't report work, or get new work, until the Scheduler starts woking again.

If someone in the know could pass the message along so someone can give it a kick before they head off for the weekend?

EDIT- one of my systems has got a response from the Scheduler on a couple of occasions in the last 20 min, but it's also timed out in that period as well. Naturally the system that is out of GPU work gets nothing but timouts.

It seems to be slow, but it's working here:

SETI@home 04/11/2011 22:58:15 Reporting 1 completed tasks, requesting new tasks for NVIDIA GPU
SETI@home 04/11/2011 22:59:55 Scheduler request completed: got 9 new tasks

Server status page hasn't updated for me since 2120 UTC. I did manage to report a couple of WUs a few minutes ago but it took them about a minute and a half to get through.

Just rebooted the system in question (it runs through the same router as the other one) will see if it makes any difference. Although there's 3min down since the request was made & still no response.

Something's gone off into the woods a bit...
Server status page has not updated for almost an hour...that's never a good sign.
It's usually 10 or 20 minute intervals. When it does not update in a timely fashion, something has become tangled.

Yay! Got some work, but it took over 4 minutes to get a response. Usually it's less than 30sec.
Something, somewhere, isn't well.

Could it be Celt tooths Aurora interfering here.

I see that several of the servers are off-line for maintenance, my current
upload will not go through. Perhaps there servicing it all in readiness
for the "kitties crunchathon".

What is shown as down as of the last update are just some processes on Synergy that are not currently active.

I got word through to Eric...
He is en route to home right now and said he will check into it and see what he can do when he arrives.

Uploads are getting sticky now. Had several backup, but after a few attempts most of them went through, except for one. It just doesn't want to go.
