Doesn't the seti institute require ~ $20 million per year? SETI@home does more with less than any other DC project out there, I am very proud to be a part of such a worthy project as this.

Aye they do thats where their corporate sponsors come in, where as SETI@Home is where us humble homeies come in :) With projects such as these large amounts of donations are always required and people such as ourselves would always do our best to support in anyway we can!

Just an FYI everyone:

There are multiple ways to give to SETI. You can:

1. Donate directly to SETI via their website.

2. Visit http://www.gpuug.org/catalog to donate via Paypal through the GPU Users Group.

3. While at the GPU Users Group website you can choose to donate cash to SETI, hardware or help us fund projects such as an Astropulse server, RAID array and so forth.

Thanks guys. No matter how you choose to give to SETI, thank you very much.

Just went onto the donate page via the website but I'm just getting a blank screen. Is it down or something ?

Does the spec's of that server at least match up with those of Carolyn, Oscar and Synergy?

If not then it's really no good to us sorry.

Cheers.

If a donation would result in more project uptime,
Or an increase in communication about the project from staff,

I'm feeling like a cynic.
I also can no longer justify the BOINC hardware that I wanted to purchase....
It's not too many computers, it's a lack of circuit breakers for this room. But we can fix it :)

Just made a small donation of $15, maybee more later. It is a very honorable project and I so want to be a part of it! We might not find anything during my lifetime, but I´m sure we will, even if it takes a couple of hundred years!

Hmm, I can see my old account in the statistic (There are 2 bamsejon on http://allprojectstats.com/showuser.php?searchstr=bamsejon and one Jon Andersson on http://allprojectstats.com/showuser.php?searchstr=jon+andersson

Is it possible to merge those?
They are all mine accounts...

I cant remember what mail-adress I used for the first one.
