I got 30 units when the servers first came back up. Then there was the 2nd dip in the Cricket graphs, now I can't connect to upload or download more. Going direct I get a "connect()failed" message Through a proxy (tried 2 different ones) I get "http error" If someone wants to start a fund raiser for a new router to cure the the "HE problem" I'll kick the can for $500 straight up T.A. |

I want to know exactly what hardware SAH needs the money for. They have been asked this before and have been silent on the issue. I want to know first before I send in any money for it. Until then, nada. |

I got 30 units when the servers first came back up. Then there was the 2nd dip in the Cricket graphs, now I can't connect to upload or download more. From the "HE Connection Problems Thread" Folks, the problem is KNOWN to be a flakey router (208.68.243.254) at the Hurricane Electric interconnect in Palo Alto, California. S@H staff is working with HE to get it either fixed or replaced, but until that happens, SOME folks' access to the S@H upload/download pipe will be blocked, and it may not always be the same ones. |

I want to know exactly what hardware SAH needs It's actually more complicated than that. See this message. From Vic's research, a replacement Router will cost around $30K - not cheap. Let's let Eric & co. see what they can do, but if they ask for a fund drive, I'll be in. Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |

(Some snippage) From the "HE Connection Problems Thread" Folks, the problem is KNOWN to be a flakey router (208.68.243.254) at the Hurricane Electric interconnect in Palo Alto, California. S@H staff is working with HE to get it either fixed or replaced, but until that happens, SOME folks' access to the S@H upload/download pipe will be blocked, and it may not always be the same ones. Saw that. "Router" covers a lot of territory. So who owns it? HE or SAH? If they need a Data Blaster 9600 with Sapphire Knobs and Dinochrome mud flaps let 'em say so. It's not like I'm asking for the submission of a funding proposal. I'd just like to know the name and model. |

Well at least my 3 reached, "This computer has reached a limit on tasks in progress", before the Cricket Graph took a dive. Cheers. |

Well at least my 3 reached, "This computer has reached a limit on tasks in progress", before the Cricket Graph took a dive. I de-selected CUDA tasks for an hour or so this morning here just to force CPU units. ;) Cheers. |

Well, the good news is that the splitters are racking up a whole bunch of work units. The bad news is the Cricket graphs have tanked. Nothing appears to be going in or out. Dave |

Seems that things were going along pretty well for a bit whilst I was away at work.... The kitties did snag a fair amount of work for the crunchers. But a bit ago, uploads seem to have gone away, and with that, no more work requests from the rigs. Probably have to wait until tomorrow morning for the cavalry to arrive in the lab again and see what went away in the night. Ready to send is dropping, results in field is climbing - a small trickle is still going out. At least the assimilators are slowly catching up - but the backlog of 'to purge' has reached a combined 10 million... |

Mine has been able to upload, sort of. It's like catch if catch can. Really flaky. So far, no reporting though. Getting an HTTP internal server error message. At least I've still got some work left so hopefully I'll make it until the guys get in to work on it. PROUD MEMBER OF Team Starfire World BOINC |

Yes i have uploaded all work to but no reporting :( patience patience patience ^^ I am finding the downloads, uploads and reporting all work, but frequently time out. With repeated pressing of the 'retry now' and 'update' buttons I am managing to bully everything through. I think there is no problem as such, just a very overloaded system as everyone tries to catch up from 3-4 days of mostly downtime. |

My last successfull d/l was at 23:51, sched request at 23:56, & u/l at 03:09. Cricket graph is way down, so I hope everything gets worked out this morning so that I will have something to crunch over the weekend. I don't buy computers, I build them!! |

The kitties have been running the crunchers all night and have lots of WUs they'd like to talk with the servers about..... "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

It's hit and miss here. It seems to work in very small bursts, all up/down/report lightning fast, in between longer periods of everything stuck solid. The excrucicatingly long project backoffs don't exactly help if you are trying to hit a very small window of opportunity... |

WHile my browser can get into the download and upload servers, it seems BOINC is unable to make the connection. |
