I have a few cards laid around me here.

Can i literally plug these Graphic cards in and BOINC will do the work or what?

I Have a AGP Gforce 5 & 7 series

Unfortunately not. It has to be a card from the List of CUDA-enabled GPUs, and that starts with the Geforce 8-series.

If you do find one of those lying around, you'll probably need to install a newish driver to go with it, but apart from that - yes, just plug it in and go.

Oooops, err, cancel that and make it a 'no': both computers on your account are running Linux, and there's no plug-and-play solution here at SETI for GPUs under Linux yet. Sorry.

Make an advanced forum search over all subforum with 'Linux CUDA', 'CUDA Linux', 'Linux GPU' and 'GPU Linux' and you will find a few threads about.

(strange forum search, that there are different results depend of which word first)

AFAIK, there is an app for non-Fermi GPUs with Linux.
