Fix it - well the first one in makes sure they've got a decent pair of boots on, walks round the back of the server cabinet and administers a healthy kick in the appropriate tender part of the anatomy.

If that fails then its a bit more serious and they have to wait until the caffeine level has reached operation-critical.

None for me either, sitting on a couple hundred results to send back...

No upload for 12 hours here in UK. I'm sure the lads know and will fix it. No real panic anywhere that I can see.

Indeed...seems to just be something to do with uploads. Everything else seems to be working fine. I would not be surprised if they just need to reboot something. 10:25am EDT on Monday here. They should be in the lab within an hour or two roughly.

Not trying to sound impatient, but did someone alert the SETI team about the upload server? I know they are all busy, so I am not on a rant, but I see on the cricket graphs that egress/ingress is traversing gigabitethernet2_3 however, I am curious what that traffic is on the ingress if the upload server isn't working? Is this some ghost traffic that is piggybacking off the wire that is clogging up pipe for wanted traffic? (I hate to call it a DoS)

The really annoying part in this is:

upload server bruno Running

We are used to server failures every weekend by now, but why can't the indicate it at least??????

Maybe the "indicator", the Server status page, is running on Bruno :-)

The "indicator" is indicating that the upload server was running at 22:50:10 UTC last night.

Yes, all the servers tend to go on strike at the same time - they're in the same union :-)

Work requests to the Scheduler. Obviously enough computers are sending those to keep the outgress fully occupied, and those requests can be fairly large since they list all tasks which the computer already has.

uploader server coming back online. Just managed to upload two workunits. However, most timeout after reaching 100% upload completion, presumably because the server is so swamped that it does not have time to acknowledge receipt of the data.

Edit and as noted below - if they do upload they cannot be reported as the project has been shut down for maintenance.
