Message 1151314 - Posted: 12 Sep 2011, 2:07:18 UTC - in response to Message 1151176.

I looked again to the last 29 MAC/Intel machines I posted with the 6.04 errors, 7 make now well results with 6.04 .
Perhaps the owners have made reboots or something else?

I rebooted and it didn't resolve the problem for me. Only when I received tasks with v6.03 did the errors go away. There is something really odd about those machines you listed. The tasks that did complete on Intel Macs using v6.04 has outputs similar to this:
<core_client_version>6.6.36</core_client_version>
<![CDATA[
<stderr_txt>
setiathome_enhanced 6.03a XCode GCC 4.0.1 (Apple Inc. build 5494) ppc

libboinc: 6.12.35
libboinc: 6.12.35

It says it is for the PPC architecture. Doesn't seem right to me.

I wonder if that is the bug I saw on beta where the scheduler was sending out both the Intel and PPC apps to Intel machines?

Well, that would definitely explain why it would fail on my machines and possibly still run on other Intel macs. Lion no longer includes rosetta and I cannot run PPC executables at all now. I do not know how well S@H, BOINC, rosetta and PPC played together on Intel macs before but they sure won't play nice with lion.

Just noticed a couple of MB Tasks with the v6.05 app tag. Apps page says this version is going to both PPC and Intel Macs. Hope they got the bugs worked out this time.
