My computer has not been in communication with SETI@Home since the third week of May. No statistical updates, no new work, and now all I see is "No Running Tasks." I ain't feeling the love anymore. Anything I can do on my end at the East end of West Virginia?

Thanks!

Indeed, your computer hasn't connected to SETI@home since 25 May 2011 | 14:33:02 UTC and in consequence all but two of your tasks have timed out (no response).

We cannot tell you why your computer didn't connect anymore unless you tell us more about the status colums of the different tabs in BOINC manager and give us some lines from your Messages tab, preferrably after a reboot.

Gruß,
Gundolf

Jahn,

Thanks for getting back to me. I dumped everything, ran two in depth security scans (one before and one after), removed an unused program, defragmented the hard drive and all is well. I did nothing that I do not ordinarily do at least once per month. My HP is happy and I am too. All of the updates were present, the hard drive was less than 1% fragmented, Trend Micro found nothing unusual and it was a game that was deleted. Go figure ...

Thanks!

Brian
