Just noticed almost all of the new work units I just got are at least -2. So many either timed out, aborted or abandoned. I'm not complaining, work is work, but just wondering what is going on and is anyone else seeing this? ![]() PROUD MEMBER OF Team Starfire World BOINC |

Its not something that I'm seeing, but I've just switched from NNT and I've got 13 fresh WUs....that is to say, I've been assigned 13 fresh WUs! I'll get them, eventually. lol Don't take life too seriously, as you'll never come out of it alive! |

Just noticed almost all of the new work units I just got are at least -2. So many either timed out, aborted or abandoned. I'm not complaining, work is work, but just wondering what is going on and is anyone else seeing this? Normal after an outage. There are always people who pass a deadline while the servers are down, whether they are people who walked away a month and a half ago without tidying up behind them, or deadline-jockeys who ride the edge of a massive cache without even a connect-interval to protect them. Either way, the resends get added to the ready-to-send queue, even while the splitters are down or inhibited because there are already enough to send. So, a lot of resends in the early part of the 'back for business' queue. |
