Good evening friends. Got home about 1.5 hours ago. Dr appointment went well. Daughter has surgery scheduled in a month to place some plates to stop 1 side of each growth plate from growing, to hopefully straighten out her legs. If that doesn't work, then its break the legs time. We left the hospital a little after 3pm PST, and got home at 9pm PST. Lovely weather we had, rain going down, snow stopping us from going over. They closed the highway, jack knifed semi's and accidents all over the road. After that, my great day turned into a crappy day. Off to drink a beer and go to bed. I hope the surgery goes well for your daughter...and that it succeeds in it's purpose. PROUD TO BE TFFE! ID: 1109935 ·

From what I've been able to dig up so far, its a pretty quick surgery. Its usually an outpatient surgery, but they are setting it up for us to stay the night just in case. They are placing what they call "eight-plates" in on both legs. She should be able to walk with no problems after surgery.
