Unlikely. Queen won't go until she dies, could be another 10 years minimum. Charles is not wanted as King but he has earned the right to be one, say 10 years before he hands over to popular wishes. That gives William time to get having a family out of the way.

That's a rather cold way to put it...Just get that family crap over and done with so i can be KING!

I bet her Majesty will outlive her mother, and still be on the throne for another twenty years. After all she has better doctors, better food, and a good reason to hang in there until she can hand over to her grandson.

I'm just not practical -

cr** broadband figures (my ISP's network)

Ages to get web sited uploaded

cr** dual Xeon XP PC, with corrupt systel dlls, and continuous BSOD

cr** back up policy practiced every 2 years, when needed (not).

Not winning ....

Mornin' friends :-)

@ Mike - we will catch the train, it takes an hour.

The wedding was just beautiful - both Kate, and Pippa's gowns were stunning!

No Dan, just being pragmatic. It would be a lot easier to be King without 5 year olds around the place. Not cold, just practical.

OK then...It's a rather cold thing to say with a lot of practical gobbledygook on it...Let's just skip the challenging parts and get on with being KING!

Looking out at another wall-to-wall day of sunshine, and getting warmer. Best I forget the dial up-broadband and take the dogs out.

Enjoy the sunshine, John, it is nearly bedtime here...first day back at school after a whole month off...I have been preparing myself, by setting the alarm all this week!

We had a lovely day in Melbourne today, and we visited Tiffany and Co - the Bat bought me this.

I am so spoilt!!!

That is a nice present, and the sunshine, in cloudless skies, is continuing. It's forecast for the rest of the week.

Dial up-broadband has speeded up slightly but it is still ...
