Time for a new one. Post what you are planting, what you already have, tips, advise and other gardening related nonsense.

I finally had time to buy some plants. Dill, Parsely, Basil, Roma Tomato, two Bell Peppers and a Jalapeno Pepper.

Sorry Ziggy, still haven't been able to find Catnip for you.

Can you spot the visitor?

Some of my wind beaten Freesias.

A few of my 24 or so Rosebushes and the Bing Cherry Tree. Way in the back is some borrage.

Do you hate me yet Ang? The bees next door are loving it. I am sure of that.

Today, the tomato, some onions, beans and basil found a new home.
Tommorrow, I will group the jalapeno with the parsley and some more onions.

I guess it it is obvious, I like companion planting.

25 years ago I did some gardening and I did grow some crookneck squash, corn 6' tall and really sweet(the ants thought so at least).

Your pics look very nice Uli.

Your garden is lovely, as always Uli-belle. Alas, the borage you gave me is being besieged by oregano! Now are you hating me because my crocosmias and Shasta daisies are running rampant all over your place?

I hope to start putting in my vegetables next weekend. I'm waiting for my soil to dry out a little more before I turn it. Thanks for starting another gardening thread. I love to garden too.

I am looking forward to them Ian.

I learned yesterday, that blueberries and strawberries like beans and beans like petunias.

So after I amend the soil a bit, I will try that.

I also found a cucumber that will grow in a pot.

And tada, Ziggy will get his catnip. Since it is part of the mint family, I guess I should grow it in pots.

Yes, but prepare to have that pot rolled in by every tawdry tabby in your neighborhood!

I have been contemplating that Ang. I got three pots for the offical residents. But I guess I should find a forth for Streaker the stray.
