Hey!
What's your talent?
Would you like to share just a little with your friends at S@H?
Pictures of paintings you've done? Poems you've written? Your incredible video of a pristine performance of you on 1st violin playing some Bach fugue?
Share a little something with us.

I can walk and chew gum at the same time. Other than that I'm useless.

You do realise that Sarge will roast our nuts on an open fire. I think he meant this thread to be serious.

Very sorry, I guess my first post set the tone of the thread. All I meant was to poke fun at my lack of talent

I seem to have a talent for fostering giant earthworms. The size of my pinky and some over 6 inches long.

What can I say...
I know that beating egg whites poses no problem....I know from experience that a swift wrist action can make almost anything stand up stiffly.

Oh lordy, I think I'd better stay outta this one .... ;-))

LOL.....wise man knows where not to tread.

I usually walk in the door when it has been opened.......

That was a favorite saying of an old friemd of mine.
When making a rather, shall we say, robust statement, and reviewing the aftermath, he would say..........

'Look buddy, you opened the door. I just walked through it.'

As a matter of fact, quite the opposite is true. Room temperature egg whites beat up far higher than chilled ones.

I'm not just a pretty face.

Although Sidney seems quite taken with my attributes...but he won't tell me which ones....the tease.

I seem to have a talent for doing jobs nobody else wants to do, and having them mostly turn out successful. They say there is no rest for the wicked or the multi-talented, so I must be one of the latter.

I'm also getting really good at giving funerary orations for departed Veterans. I attribute that to too much practice, especially lately. But if it helps ease the pain of those left behind....

And it doesn't hurt that there is usually a pretty good feast after the funeral, to refresh the memories and share stories (some only a little embellished).

My beloved Mrs Miggins is indeed correct that seeing to my Aspidistra is a consuming hobby of mine, and a final application of button polish gives it quite a shine. I might also somewhat modestly say that I can expertly jiggle a couple of balls in a pocket, but Miggins insists that I restrict that to the snooker room.

With warmest regards,
