Well, I have to say, congratulations 100,000,000 Cobblestones is quite an achiefment!

And a R.A.C. of over a 100,000 a day, too.

Banished, again......?

As Fred said, thats quite an achievement and, again as he said, with a RAC of over 100,000! Wow. A big wow, at that. Congratulations and Respect. Numbers like that are almost beyond imagining....except if you're a cat, in which case they'll often use the expression, 'pffff', followed by a big stretch, a yawn and a lie-down. lol Well done, once again.

Do you talk about Mark? His RAC is much higher than 100,000. :D

Actually on his way to break 200,000. Now 190,300. ;-)

@ Helli, as is yours, too, you're on overdrive ;-)

Oh boy, my bad, have to buy yet another set of glasses ;^)

My RAC will slowly sink, since I stopped crunching, Collatz C. and MW. :(

Have to find a mobo, for my 5770 & 5870, I know there are plenty, who

can handle these 2 cards.

And testing the ATI MB app., for now I've put the 470 in this rig so
it can atleast crunch, also SETI Bêta, there always have to be WU's crunched
By CPU or nVIDIA GPU, to compaire results?
(Or am I totally wrong here...?)

Last thing I read, Mark was changing his crunching hours to take advantage of cheaper night time electricity in an effort to reduce utility bills.
So the current RAC in the region of 200k might not be representative of full farm 24/7 crunching.

Do you search for new or used Boards? For Cruncher only?

I have a few 775 Boards with Quads and Ram that i don't use anymore.
For only the shipping costs.... ;-)

Hey,

just read that.

Do you have a nice quad cpu for 775 to give away?

Right know there´s a core 2 duo e6750 in the pc.
So does it make sence to switch over to the quad?
Despite adding 2 more CPUs :-)

Comparing between the two. According to Tom's Hardware the q6600 will give you ~5.3% more performance overall, of course taking into consideration Seti@Home is much different than running games.

I would think being able to run 4 WU's at a time vs. 2 would be a pretty decent increase. Not sure if I would expect exactly a x2 increase in production but it would be a noticeably small increase. And multi-tasking when you are actually using the computer would be noticeable as well.

I went from an e8400 to a q9650 same thing just two more cores and I noticed a pretty good difference especially here. As far as the q6600 vs. e6750 on the ALU benchmarks there they are showing ~19k point difference. (43,863 / 24849)
