At the time of this post 'Your Computers' is showing the Recent Average Credit for my comps as 84.34 & 65.33 which adds up to 149.67 total Recent Average Credit. In'Your Account' & on the BOINC software it shows Recent Average Credit as 93.09 149.67 / 2 = 74.835 would be a total Recent Average Credit. How is 93.09 arrived at? K. This one is kind of hard to explain. The total and individual RAC are tracked seperately so they do not always compare the way they should. They should be simply additive so 149.67 should be close to the total. The difference is most likely that the individual numbers have not been updated as recently as the total number. The RAC is not calculated continously. Each item is tracked separately, and the value is dependent on the time that the calculation was made. The RAC for each host, user, and team is updated every time that credit is added, and once a week. The calculation generates an exponentially decreasing average. If you had 100 as the RAC a week ago, and did not add any during the week, your RAC would now be 50, and next week, would be 25. But since the RAC is calculated separately for each, and the exact time of the calculation can make a difference, the components will not add to the total listed for the higher level, i.e. hosts -> user or users -> team. jm7 |

So lets say its 50/50; well, alright then - it is me. I suppose you also have to add in, as well, the fact that as the wu's come in, the wu's in pending credit can also be added into the RAC at any time. Thanks. K. [url=http://www.boinc.dk/index.php?page=user_statistics&userid=2593] |
