Cricket just face-planted from maxed out to the floor. And the forum list looks to be borked again. [sarcasm] Yaaay! [/sarcasm]

The download servers were disabled about 15mins ago.

Cheers.

I see some more stylesheet changes to the general layout and appearance. I suppose "borked" isn't the appropriate term to use when there is a visual change in progress. Guess it's a work in progress.

I can't find a proper translation for the german 'gewoehnungsbeduerftig' 'takes getting used to' that properly carries the attached heavy sarcasm.

Frankly I don't see any advantage to the new style.

Oh dear I need to panic, I've only got about a day worths GPU crunching left!

Styles come and go but I've still got at least 5 days worth of work up my sleeve before backup projects come into play.

Cheers.

Methinks David has been parking his tanks on Eric's lawn again. Why does he always do that when the SETI staff are up to their necks in their own crisis?

Pssst.... Hey buddy, can you spare a workunit for an out of work machine?

I could really use it. I need a "fix" man, really bad.

Cmon, anything you got rattling around in your pocket. ;)

That's the thing "had in the queue"
What was in the queue to deliver has been delivered
as to what's going on now is anybodys guess
Status page is the same as it was last nite (mostly red)
Reports are not uploading, new wu not available (project down for maintenance)

Hope we at least they give an update before they leave today

They were stuck in downloading because the download servers have been off for a week.

Rob they posted it to the front page Last night before going home. It was in the News section of the forums not the Tech News section yesterday. They had more problems with the server but are supposedly getting tech help from Hurricane Electric to whom the server belongs.

How long can ET hold the RAID array hostage, before the Galactic Federation of United Planets react, and send a cruiser to this part of the galaxy?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Very soon I hope, in about half an hour I'm out of GPU work.

Matt: Meanwhile, we'll be off for the foreseeable future. Like at least until next week, I imagine. Bummer.

So I'll do MW maybe, seems they have problems also...

Looks like it will not be until next week now, Gowron needs an OS upgrade and all the files have to be copied off first.
