Well atleast i have a couple more days of work.... I think we need a couple more redundant servers, and parts.....Just a thought? You know, in a quantum world.. we would have many duplicates of everything, and anything that could go wrong does go wrong all the time. Also, I see some of the stylesheet changes have gone away again. Linux laptop: record uptime: 1511d 20h 19m (ended due to the power brick giving-up) |

Also, I see some of the stylesheet changes have gone away again. Yes, making a link blue on blue was discovered to be a bit awkward. Carola ------- I'm multilingual - I can misunderstand people in several languages! |

Well, it's soon Friday and another weekend is getting closer. So, even if they manage to get things running again on Friday, it will come crashing down again as soon as they leave the lab for the weekend. Welcome to outage 2011 at least we ran for January |

I think I maybe have about 4 days worth of WU left. Really wish I had some AP units to work on thou. I have them all. :) "Life is a tragedy for those who feel, and a comedy for those who think." "I never get into an argument that I cannot win." |

Still about 60 hours left on the single-core machine. And about 36 on the 2p dual main cruncher. Not worried. The fans will slow down and it will get quiet again. Linux laptop: record uptime: 1511d 20h 19m (ended due to the power brick giving-up) |

Been asked before I know but 1 of my machines has a load of units that time-out on Monday - I'll get credit for them tho of course I believe. Partly my fault for prioritising the _2s & _3s ;). |

You´ll be fine Dave. The results wich expires weren´t sent out yet to a third user and if so you send it back before those returns. With each crime and every kindness we birth our future. |

Oh no! Panic! No more "waiting to run" tasks in my cache, and in about three hours, system idle process is going to start counting! [/panic] Linux laptop: record uptime: 1511d 20h 19m (ended due to the power brick giving-up) |

When the servers come back on is there any problems liable to be encountered with reporting larger amounts of results, ATM I have over 2,200 to report and by the time I finish my cache it will be near to 3,000? Kevin Kevin |

that was sorted late last year You'll need to upgrade to the current development version, this feature is not implemented in 6.10.58 or older clients. |

that was sorted late last year Not sure you are correct there...... I am running 6.10.58 on all 8 rigs, and I seem to recall that everything worked out OK the last time we had an outage of this magnitude. Maybe older than 6.10.58? Either Richard or Joe had kept tabs on this some time back....perhaps they can confirm. It might even have been handled server side....I am really not sure anymore. Either Richard or Joe had kept tabs on this some time back....perhaps they can confirm. I'll have the records, but it will take a while to search -I don't run huge caches (or huge rigs) so anything beyond "it's been sorted" didn't really register :-) |
