Can anybody explain what this means and how to stop it from appearing? I noticed that this error message appears occasionally after calculations go through the suspend/resume cycle due to high CPU usage (set at default 25%). "Progress" slows to a crawl and does not come back up until I do one or a few suspend/resume cycles for the process. The following is a part of the stderr_txt output ... set the cpu usage to 100%. BOINC alsways backs off the run other higher priority programs first. Also are you attempting to connect to this PC via Remote desktop In a rich man's house there is no place to spit but his face. Diogenes Of Sinope |

The CPU usage is set at 100% (default setting). I am not connecting remotely. |

You can set "Suspend work if CPU usage is above" to 100%, too, or to zero, which is the same. (I believe skildude was speaking about this preference too:-) It's possible that a reboot would restore normal functionality of the GPU faster. Gruß, Gundolf |
