Hoping that things are stable enough today or tomorrow to get another stats dump out for the 3rd party sites. I'm gonna have another whomping day on Boincstats....should have nearly a million banked by the time it updates. If anybody is not aware of why their stats are not updating on their favorite stats site, it is probably not the site's problem. Due to problems with mysql here on Seti, the xml file with the stats for them has not been generated for a few days now. Hang in there. Meow. Thats what i imagined Mark. The stats on my Team page didn´t update since the big outage for example. I´m very confused about it. I´m talking about the green pic in my sig. Everything else is updating just fine. With each crime and every kindness we birth our future. |

Well...wait until the next stats export is generated. You should see news of it in this thread. Then, give it 24 hours, and if Planet 3DNow has not updated by then, it might be on their side. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

I dont think so Mark. When i go to the stats page it shows "update running". This message is shown over for weeks now. With each crime and every kindness we birth our future. |

I dont think so Mark. Well, like I said, before you accost the site admins, just wait for one more stats export here on Seti.....if they don't get that, then the site is down for their own problems. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

Since multiple stats sites are days behind on updates I presumed the problem was at Berkeleys end. I made some hardware changes and it is quite difficult to determine the results without the stats. Update please? It's not too many computers, it's a lack of circuit breakers for this room. But we can fix it :) |

My team site runs updates every hour. When i crunched for Milkyway whilst seti was down i could see at work about the progress. With each crime and every kindness we birth our future. |

Oh, how short our memories are. As I pointed out last time, you can always see what stats are available at http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/stats/. Currently, they're stuck at 25 December. @ Mike, if you've been seeing "update running" 'for weeks', then your site has a problem. Not here. @ eaglescouter, no update since 25 December does indicate a problem here - I'm afraid you will have to wait for (possibly low-priority) manual intervention by the staff. |

Oh, how short our memories are. As I pointed out last time, you can always see what stats are available at http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/stats/. Waiting for SETI is something I am trying to become accustomed to. Unfortunately I still remember instant credits and hourly stats updates from the old SETI project. Delays like this do make me question my sanity when I look at my utility bills and hardware upgrade costs. Yes I know it's about the science. But I "Like" the stats! It's not too many computers, it's a lack of circuit breakers for this room. But we can fix it :) |

I'm frustrated by the lack of stats because I wanted to determine my status as of Dec 28, my SETI 8th anniversary. It's not too many computers, it's a lack of circuit breakers for this room. But we can fix it :) |

I too am eager for an update. But I find it more satisfying that the project keeps running. Hopefully the stats updates can become more regular soon. And patience (as has been said before) is a requirement. Janice |

Yes, it would be nice to have the stats updating once more. Having big spikes of stats followed by (almost) nothing is one of the annoying side effects of the 3 day outages. If you're trying to observe system and project performance, the big spikes make the graphics much less visibly useful, since they distort the vertical scale of the graphs (some for the next 60 days). And, even looking at weekly averages is less useful, not to mention daily. (this from the perspective of a BoincStats user). I know we're not in a 3 day outage now, but the stats are off, just the same, for 4 days. So hopefully, whatever is needed to get stats back online can be done soon. Dave |

Mike, In the export-file from 25 dec. your TC was 3,9 million, Planet3D says 3,78. So I guess something is wrong with the stats of Planet3D. http://www.seti.nl/personalstats.php?id=9826 Goodbye Seti Classic |

And now there is a 29-Dec-2010 export for all to chew over. For a small side bet, you could enjoy watching to see which of the multitude of stats sites is the first to finish downloading and processing all 520 MB (compressed) of data. |

And now there is a 29-Dec-2010 export for all to chew over. Well, Boincstats does not have it yet. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

And now there is a 29-Dec-2010 export for all to chew over. The stats on our site are being updated right now. :) The whole proces of updating takes about 3 hours. So be patience. ;) http://www.seti.nl/boinc_team.php Goodbye Seti Classic |
