My favorite dessert beer, only available in June, so I buy two cases to last me the year...

It tastes like a Guinness Float, for anyone who has tried that wonderful concoction before...

:-)

Yummie, looks great. I love vanilla. I don't know if they sell it in Belgium but I'll look for it, that's for sure:)

Julie, you have more than your share of fine beers there...

I was hanging out with friends last night, enjoying several bottles of Stella Artois, and pondering international relations... :-)

We have a lot of beers, that's right but I never found vanilla beer over here unfortunately. I like Stella though...:)

Say what you will about Florida, any state that can combine dessert and beer can't be all bad

Wasn't gonna drink this weekend, but after working 8 hours of overtime today, the ol' kittyman broke down and allowed hisself a six'er of Leinenkugel's Classic Amber. Yummy.

It's a good thing the bar is open. I've been mowing, and doing chores. Now I can sit back and drink every Budweiser I can get my hands on before the wife starts yelling.....

About 3:00 pm the breeze was blowing, Sitting in the shade and drinking a beer and smoking my last rocky patel vintage 1990 cigar. A perfect day it was.

From my Iceman. He comes every two weeks with frozen foods. His firm is German in origin, called Eismann, and has different beers in summer and in winter. But the beer is not frozen like the rest.

All I have is Budweisers, and a few IPA's. It will just have to do! I wish I had a nice Chimay Grande Reserve, but I'm trying to save money. These Budweisers are nice and cold! Ummmmmmmmmm!

Had a late dinner tonight at Brewbaker's, a local brewpub.
Sausage plate for starters (grilled Bratwurst, Cajun & Italian sausages, with spicy mustard and cheese sauces to dip them in), followed by fish & chips, washed down with their Sequoia Red Ale. Dessert was a root beer float (both root beer and ice cream hand-made in-house).

Oh, and music by a local jazz/blues combo, Fritz and the Cats.

I'm gonna sleep good tonight.
