I spent the day with Lori and friends at her place.
Ate tons of food (twice).
Watched a couple of movies......
The Blind Side...wonderful true story.
And Avatar (for the 4th time...gawd that is a great pic!!)

All in all it was a very enjoyable day.

There was once a young man who had said to his brethren.....
"I will suffer for you.....and then I must go unto heaven
And you will see in my stead,
Instead of suffering and pain
A forgiveness that my Father upon you has laid."

And his pain upon the world below was bestown.
And his name has since forever been bespat and restored.
This man's name was Jesus of Nazareth, the Lord.
And today his name has been remembered in accord
with the bible and wishes of those who believe
in the birth of the Christ child.
The king now conceived.

Now there are some who don't believe in this story of old....
They won't believe that there was a saviour of old.
And think that their sins can somehow pass over the bridge.
But they won't, and they can't until you just crest one ridge.

All you have to do,
in a soft little voice,
is ask for redemption,
it's not a hard choice.

Just ask him to bestow upon your old, tired brow
the forgiveness he hes promised
and then you shall know
the peace that is granted
to those who just ask.
It is not a great labor,
it is not a great task.

Do this in your lifetime,
I suggest it right now..
Take a moment to do it.
It will help you somehow.

I hope I have not asked to much
for I know. There are many who don't know
God's love that I know.

And I don't wish to hurt
those of you who are not sure.
But be not too afraid.........
He will help you if you can endure.

POSTSCRIPT......

I really really don't to really bone religious on you......

But this holiday is something very special to me.
And the beliefs that made it special to me go back many years to my childhood.

You may believe, or you may not. I won't diss you for what you might have not.
I believe what I do for the things I have seen,

they have been quite sad, and the Lord's net quite yet seen.......
His reasons quite clear to me, ya see..........
I have yet to understand them.
and the things I have not, although I still DO BELIEVE.
