James, John and rebest, Yer all lucky, You have children, I though don't, I spent Years taking care of My Mother, so that's that. I'm sure it was hard on you. In 1986, my mother was diagnosed with cancer in November and was dead by the end of March. I still deeply regret not having more time and resources to have cared for her better. Join the PACK! |

James, John and rebest, Yer all lucky, You have children, I though don't, I spent Years taking care of My Mother, so that's that. She was very trying at times, more so after She retired and started drinking full time, when She was sober She was great, heck She did manage to teach Me how to cook from scratch if I needed to and She even tried to teach Me at one point on how to dance, like in a ballroom, She needed Dad, badly, but She chased Him away and It was Her fault that He took His life later on(the theory is that a sexually transmitted virus causes prostate cancer and a bullet finished Him off) and yet until Her dying day She proclaimed that She loved Him, She was just in denial that She couldn't have children and to Her that meant no more sex with Dad and that led to Her filing for Divorce and eventually His death. Yes I forgave Her, She's been gone since 1998(76, heart failure due to mouth cancer, She smoked a lot) and Dad's been gone since 1993(75), His Dad(82, 1969, loneliness, otherwise old age) and his Grandpa(87, 1954~, old age) lived into their 80's with no cancer of any type... Anyone over 65 in the UK gets classed as an OAP, because they are in receipt of the State Pension. Don't knock it until you have tried it, free bus passes all over London save me a bundle of cash, and cut-price admissions, and haircuts. I know what Ya mean, My Brother was briefly a senior and barely looked It too. Savoir-Faire is everywhere! The T1 Trust, T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, America's First HST |

Does this mean i should now be mature and responsible? "I may have to grow older, but I refuse to grow up." "Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional." The maturity test: On a table there is a Yo-yo and a pad and pencil to write next weeks shopping list. Which first? :) |

The maturity test: On a table there is a Yo-yo and a pad and pencil to write next weeks shopping list. Which first? :) I'd ignore both, as the shopping list here is done on the PC in notepad and I couldn't work a Yo-Yo at all... Savoir-Faire is everywhere!
