Here we go we seem to enter the 3-day break. No uploads/scheduler possible anymore. We can still post though :) |

The first 3 day outage after the very long outage, and it happens on the Christmas week. I wonder if they have really thought this through. Coming out of the outage is usually not easy and crashless. And I predict you are wrong. I will tell you so in another thread. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

Hmm... that didn't last much longer than with Mork... |

Oscar/Carolyn seem to be running fine, however there is no work being fed, and the status page isn't updating. Scheduler requests are going through just fine, just nothing new to download for whatever reason. Hopefully this is just a process that they can remote restart to keep them from going into the lab on the holiday break... |

Status page has updated, MB splitting is enabled, but not Astropulse at the moment, and work is flowing again on cricket, Claggy |

Scheduler requests are going through just fine, just nothing new to download for whatever reason. I don't know if they restarted something remotely or that things were fixed automatically, but the status page is updated again and everything except for the astropulse splitters seems to work. Also the cricket graph is at its maximum level again. |

I see that now. Glad it was easy or automatic. :) |

Servers are all fine - it was a stupid problem. I tracked it down and fixed it. You can thank my insomnia for me being awake at this hour looking for something productive to do. - Matt -- BOINC/SETI@home network/web/science/development person -- "Any idiot can have a good idea. Seti Beta is still reported as being down for maintenance. ;-) Claggy Edit: thanks for fixing Seti Main anyway. Edit 2: and thanks for bringing Beta back online. |

Too much coffee again ? Thanks for your efforts Matt, from a fellow sufferer of "Circadian Rhythm displacement Syndrome" ;-) T.A. |

The Server Status page shows green for the MB splitters, but not much work is being split, and the assimilator queue is growing again. Grant Darwin NT |

Looks like we'll run out of work by the weekend. At least servers are up. I'm running my machines dry today, in preparation for an extended downtime, so no big deal. |

Someone's done something. The splitters are splitting again & the assimilator queue is draining nicely. Grant Darwin NT |

After looking to my BOINCs, the first UL which failed was at 19:03 UTC. Since then nothing possible. |

I guess we will have to wait for Matt or someone to tell us what happened. Up to that point, the system was running better than it has in many months. I'm still optomistic. Steve Warning, addicted to SETI crunching! Crunching as a member of GPU Users Group. GPUUG Website |

I guess we will have to wait for Matt or someone to tell us what happened. Up to that point, the system was running better than it has in many months. I'm still optomistic. It's just my nature. Even on the worst of days, I'm still happy. I think I'll rest easy on the ET being a threat. They have way too far to come, and would be exausted when they get here. We send them to the nearest pub, and smash them as they get to drunk to respond.. Yea, I'm always optomistic. Problems can be solved. Even at work they think of me as a cheerleader.
