Waitin for work units is hopeless.
I quit this futile project .
Its been 8 years or so,but I am fed up with the wasted time.

Good luck to all of you.

You have 40 WU's on board on your system. If you need more than that, I suggest changing your cache settings.

It apears that there was a networkproblem inside te Boinc manager.
After re-installing it seemt to work fine now.
Strange that there where no offers to help, but only pessimists who gave comments.....

Anyway,I give it another chance.

Again, good luck to all of you.

Henk,
Glad you found your problem. The two guys that posted after you are usually very willing to help those who ask for it. If you reread your post it seemed you were leaving not asking for help. All you have to do is calmly give us some information as to the problem and people will be more than happy to offer you help.
Welcome back and have a very happy New Year.

Is this problem (the work unit shortage) rearing it's head again?

I'm getting:
Message from server: Project has no tasks available

Just wondering....

Cheers, Thomas J.

Server status page not updated since last night (approx. 12 hours ago); would suggest a problem of some kind.

That's because we are in the middle of a 3 day maintenance process.
Which was announced yesterday or the day before.

Read the NEWS Forum, or Technical News..........:)

The 3-day outages have been only 1 day since the new servers came on line in December. Also, personal stats pages (and a lot of other web pages) are usually disabled during the outages and mine are curently working, so I conclude that there is no planned maintanance outage currently in progress.

I hope something simple went POP during the night and Matt will fix it when he gets in this morning, then post a note to Technical News to let us know what happened.
