Winning in a beautiful sunny day. Little chilly 48f but clear with only a few light clouds.

Hey anyone planning on attending the Rose Parade?

Might be, or maybe just some decorating.

I know some odd fellows and I am not talking about the posters here.
But I am a Rotarian.

Yes, great organization, and I'm and Odd Fellow and your [Rotary] float is being built by an Odd Fellow. There are a few of us out there still.

As Bernie says ...

Waking up on a cold (-5C) and very sunny Boxing Day morning, with no clouds or wind. Reports have it the temperature went down below -15C last night.

I have been leaving the loft hatch cover open to keep the pipes from freezing/bursting around the cold water systems.

Winning on the day after Christmas.

Now for the long trek towards summer with the women in their bikinis. (Heck, I'd settle for t-shirts right now.)

But I am a Rotarian.

I was in Rotary for 8 years, but had to leave as work meant I couldn't make the 60% attendance requirement. I was also in Table and now 41 Club.

60% we had a 100% attendance requirement. If you missed a meeting you had to make up at another club. I am a past president, Paul Harris fellow, Master Pearls graduate and 2008 Rotary International Fellow.

And I know some great guys who are Odd fellows. I almost bought their Lompoc Lodge building so that I could restore it.

Boxing Day nearly over, and ads for the January sales and summer holidays.

To compensate I will take a short win.

Declaring a winner...KB7RZF (will PM after this).

Just found out--after having to go to a funeral home today-that my sis-in-law is divorcing her husband. They have 2 little kids--my wife and I are devastated. We've been to 4 funerals in the past 2 weeks and reality is just too overwhelming right now
