This iteration should be relatively quiet until the new servers come online and people can't get work for like a week due to saturated link, and then get ghosts galore, and probably new hostIDs as well. How can we panic when we don't have a server? <sarcasm> We have a server-ette? Server-lite?? If you really want to panic, you might consider a hobby, or perhaps a sport? Something else to think about while your computer(s) are happily checking to see if the scheduler is up and sending out work. If all else fails, try throwing rocks at houses. there is nothing to panic, the result get uploaded when they get upload server working bout week ago, but cause downloadserver is still offline, i do not have anything to crunch, so what i can panic? loss of workunits i don´t have? ID: 1045578 · |

If you really want to panic, you might consider a hobby, or perhaps a sport? i did that. it lasted about 3 weeks (through the pennant race and into game 4 of The Series). i now return to my regularly scheduled nerdishness. ID: 1045630 · |

I tried to post a reply a few hours ago about how you can panic now, because the database was having trouble again, none of the posts were getting marked as Read. But the post didn't go through because of the database trouble. It looks like it's fixed now, so so much for saying you can panic now.

I doubt it. It came back up again, and besides, we've been in a large-scale outage already, there's no point for having a weekly outage right now.

other than normal backup & purge thats done every tuesday Try taking a look at the status page they shut off almost everything as they do on tuesdays the group pages always come back on first
