Hi guys

while trying to get rid of some ghost tasks i detached my PC from seti@home then reattached to it

when i reattached i selected the create new user instead of the use existing user, but used the same email address as the existing user account

now its removed all my old work on the account and i dont know how to get it all back again.

i really need it all back as ive had the account for almost 10 years now and it would be a real shame to loose everything ive worked for in that time

any help on this issue would be much apreciated

Jason

...used the same email address as the existing user account

That shouldn't be possible (*) since the email address is the unique identifier.

(*) Bar database problems, or use of upper and lower case in the email address. While it may seem to you that Jason@Email.Com is the same as jason@email.com, it may not be for databases.

Are you sure you used the same email address? No typos in the email address?

right ive solved the issue

i managed to log into the old account using the Account key which i somehow managed to keep somewhere, and found that my father had recently changed the email address of the account.

so it was just a miss communication in there

sorry for the hassle
