I favor sagan, with carl as a second choice. vader is a last name; most others are first (or only) names. I think carl is not sufficiently specific. I see no two part names so carl sagan is deprecated. I also see no long names, so carl_sagan and supercalafragalisticexpialadocious are out too. :) Try: Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateapokaiwhenuakitanatahu http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateapokaiwhenuakitanatahu " Meaning The name on the sign that marks the hill is "Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateaturipukakapikimaungahoronukupokaiwhenuakitanatahu", which translates roughly as The summit where Tamatea, the man with the big knees, the climber of mountains, the land-swallower who travelled about, played his nose flute to his loved one. At 85 letters, it has been listed in the Guinness World Records as one of the longest place names in the world. How about Columbia or Challenger? I know most of the other servers have been named after Sci-Fi characters, but the Shuttle program is drawing to a close, and those seem like good names to use. Future servers could also be named after other famous real life space vehicles. If you don't like those and want to stay on the Sci-Fi theme, then Enterprise would also be a good name. |

Well at least no one has mentioned either Angela or Excelsior(the Starship from the search for Spock). Or at least I don't think anyone has mentioned either one of them. :D Savoir-Faire is everywhere! The T1 Trust, T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, America's First HST |

If Seti wants a female name and one that could be construed as alien, How about Miriya(Parina/Sterling)? She was said to be the greatest combat pilot of the Zentraedi in the Macross Saga of Robotech. Oh and She was an alien clone. Oh and Happy Halloween. Savoir-Faire is everywhere! The T1 Trust, T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, America's First HST |

vader is a last name; most others are first (or only) names. I always thought Vader was an only name (like Sting or Madonna), as I have always considered "Darth" to be a title or honorific of some sort, as evidenced by his predecessor being Darth Maul. (odd that my spell check doesn't know "Darth" but knows "Vader"... weird) |
