@JohnDK
You must use the email from your seti-account to get email confirmation of the donation.
If you use any other email, you will not get post.

I'm 99% sure I used the Seti e-mail. I have received e-mail from Seti before like year update.

that could be the issue. in the future you might want to use the e-mail your boinc is attached to. I am not even sure if incoming mail works here?

But they will get it ironed out I am sure.

In the first server donation drive I did not receive a confirming email. Someone got Eric involved and he checked it out and PM'd me. I did get a confirming email this time around. Thanks Eric and Matt!

[quote][quote]Some snippage.

Honestly if they paid actual utility usage, the project would probably have been closed long ago. They are part of the University of California, Berkley. As such it is considered an educational/research venture. 11% puts them way ahead of the game, although if they could arrange for an actual room instead of the closet, maybe with an outside wall to vent heat through... Well I can dream. But in my opinion they got a good deal.

OK, I can live with that. It's just that I thought this was a drive for a Mork fix/replacement and was wondering why Berkeley was getting to wet their beak.

No harm, no foul. :)

You can check http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/user_donation.php to see if it got credited to you. Don't know how often the script for that runs though. Might take a day.

Nice to see that updated. And it appears that there are some people that have donated but not posted here (which is perfectly fine). If I add up the donations going back to the 6th from that page, I get $13,017. Oscar will definately be getting a sibling in the near future.

Edit: Oh, and looking at that page, it shows the smallest donation is $10, so I'm not sure if Mark's $5 donation is included (though I still have it in the above list).

You can take a look at your personal Donation Page if Berkeley receives your Gift.

Normaly a green Star needs Minutes or Hours. But can take Days...

Did you use your SETI Mail Address?
