The other day I was able to donate with no problem, I just clicked on the link to test it and a security warning popped up. So something must have happend.

The technical details indicate that "The certificate expired on 10/11/2010 02:59 AM." (today). Probably the staff of berkeley.edu has not renewed the certificate in time. Call them, better to fix this issue for many people not agreeing to use "Add Exception" button.

The problem is that all donations need to be approved by Berkeley first, and they take their cut of all donations, including the ones given by everyone here.

Far easier to come up with the cold, hard cash than it is to dance with the red tape at the University.

If you happen to know, just how much of a donation does Berkeley rake off the top?
