Even though the status page says the d/u servers are disabled, I've just uploaded all of my WUs and reported 886 tasks. Half of those was from last week. Can't download yet.

Server status page has not updated for almost 4 hrs

I just don't see the good in that. If they are going to have outages then they have to prepare for the hits when they come back on line. Hopefully they will learn to adjust, but it shouldn't be a users responsibility...


Sure, let's all set our machines to hammer at the servers nonstop until they crash again. After all, it's not our responsibility. If they can't handle it, blah blah blah.

Have you ever heard of not making someone's job harder than it has to be?

Have you ever heard of not making someone's job harder than it has to be?

I can't shut down network activity for a long time I have projects with 3 day or less deadlines. Network connectivity will always stay online unless I am doing a BOINC upgrade. I have around 10 projects going at a time. Some with very short subproject deadlines.
