In an eVGA GTX465 multicard configuration, does it help processing speed to bridge the cards via SLI?

If you play games - yes. ;-)

If you crunch CUDA WUs, it would reduce calculation performance.
1 WU/GPU is the best.

AFAIK, the new nVIDIA graphic card driver should disable SLI automatically if you crunch CUDA.

Just like with a GTX295 If You have more than one gpu You don't want SLi enabled to do S@H.
