Oh look! It's morning again,
and I don't really know when.
But someone will say
it's another POETS Day?

Down under in Oz
it's almost time for bed,
Especially for me
as I've an aching head,
Sadly, the pain pills
have brought little relief,
and since I'm lousy at poetry
I'll keep this very brief...

Goodnight Setizens :-)

now i'm tired of food and don't need to eat
stuffed to the gills with turkey and pie
too sleepy to move and too heavy to fly

The hours of slouch will give digestion time,
to clear the gut and let in more wine.
But, the week end calls attention in your head,
and an opportunity to say "stuff it" and stay in bed.

Just say "stuff it" to the lot,
and got the pub for a tot.
That way the time can be called,
and beer'O'clock firmly installed.

WAKE UP!

IT'S TIME TO GET UP!

It's nearly lunch time and we're getting ready to go and check out the sale at Old Navy. They've got some good deals on kids clothes.

In the beginning the Universe was created. The creation of Old Navy (as well as The Gap and Abercrombie & Finch-meister) are relatively recent events and widely regarded as bad moves. Then families went shopping there in search of deals on kids' clothing and this turned out to be an even worse move.
Best to go for lunch at that restaurant at the end. :)

Wish we could have, but we went to White Spot instead which wasn't bad.

At least you avoided McDonald's. That reconstituted artificial egg is worse than the War time powdered egg.

Good morning on a lovely sunny, cloudless and, ATM, windless day. Outside temperatures are currently -4C, and they hit -9C last night. No new snow dusting though, just sheet ice.

Been for a rather bracing 2 mile amble with the dogs in the countryside. Thank goodness the wind wasn't blowing. The car said the temperature was actually -7C (19F), and I was informed by the local corner shopkeeper that last night the temperature had touched -13C (8F).

Burrrr!
