What can you do, when a baby cries and is alone?
Thank you all for the warm welcomes to TinkerBell. All the dogs finally excepted her and well the other cats just stick their nose in the air.
I know what Ziggy is thinking. "I am to old for this s***.

What a simply adorable kitten, Uli. Thank you so much for giving her a rescue!

You will remember what I said about saving the 'shadow kitties'.......the little ones who hide in the dark and cry because they have no other place to go.

They know nothing but darkness, and only need a little love and light.

My four were kittens of the dark shadows before they were brought to me in their hour of need.
They would have all been tossed into the river if I said I did not want them.
But, somehow that day, I did want them. I needed them.

May one of you some day, somehow...save a little shadow kitty. Uli has.

Vic, I knew you were kidding. I was just playing along too. No offense taken...

But if you want scrawny, you should have seen Eric on the day we met. He was skin stretched over a skeleton. He could have been the poster child for the Starving Graduate Student Union.

Ah, that's why you took him in, just a starving raccoon.

Feed 'em and they'll keep on coming back! That's my motto with critters, husbands and house guests.

There's a black cat who comes in our garden every night. I don't know why it comes here and what it wants from us. One thing is sure though, it isn't afraid of me, it let's even the kids come close. Then it sits there, quietly looking at me...I wonder if it has a 'boss'? I'm surprised to find myself hoping it will come back the next night.

She doesn't even want the food that I want to give her!
It seems of no importance...
I really want to know if she has a boss...
She doesn't wear a collar?...
