I can not accept responsibility for my own actions when I can blame them on some imaginary figure.

Aha, I thought so.

I should be home from work in an hour and a half, and I'm really wanting that beer tonight!

Cheers!

I thought I would post a couple of pictures of my favorite drinking place, my back deck and yard.

Nice pictures Steve:)

Thank you! It's very quiet and peaceful here. I actually pace back and forth on the deck drinking beer, while I solve complex programming problems. I go to work the next day, and belt out the solution. It's amazing what you can do when you are relaxed. I have done that for years, and it works every time. At work I look at every aspect of the problem, then go home and have a few cold beers, and the solution becomes obvious.

Steve that is a beautiful place to drink a beer! Encourages quiet contemplation; the perfect place for a fridge full.

Here is a photo of my 'working home'. This is near to the project I have been eating/sleeping/breathing for the past 10 years and where I spend a significant amount of my time.
It is similar to yours. I sit on the front deck (not in photo) and look out over the lake and the trees etc. Been known to have a "scattered" beer, or rum, or both on this deck at the end of the day.

Cheers!

That's awesome! I would love a view of water, but it just isn't! Sometimes a nice quiet place to knock back a few drinks can be paradise. With a lake view like that, it must really be woth working up a good thirst! Thank you for posting it!

As I really like pictures, we may be on to something. Please post pictures of where you all like to drink. It can be your favorite pub, or your own house, or a get away somewhere. What is your favorite drinking place?

Well you can't beat that! I work in a place where there is no way to have a beer after work until I get home. My boss wouldn't mind buying, but the situation just wouldn't allow for it. It's Saturday, and I feel a powerful thirst coming on.......

Well, if I had consumed all this beer, and didn't post to this thread, then I wouldn't be worth much. Burp!

Steve

Sometimes, some of us just like to knock back a few, and we have no problem with that action.
