Careful, Steve, thats how we catch you out, too.

Not to worry! I look, but I have never strayed. My wife and I are together 24/7. We even work in the same place.

Drink up my friends, the bar is fully stocked, and it's Saturday night! We can't do much with the SETI servers, but the boards are still up. This round is on me!

I had to post this somewhere.

http://twitter.com/Bridgewright

We just had a 3.2 earthquake in New Hampshire. Everything shook, in two short waves. I was checking the furnace, and everything else, and finally did a web search. I thought these were only in California...

Message 1036733 - Posted: 28 Sep 2010, 22:26:31 UTC

I don't even think I could feel a 3.2, I did feel these ones though.

Klamath Falls, Oregon
1993 September 21 03:28:55 UTC Magnitude 6.0
1993 September 21 05:45:33 UTC Magnitude 6.0

September 21 03:28:55
The Klamath Falls earthquakes caused two deaths and approximately 7.5 million U.S. dollars in damage. One person was killed when the car he was driving was crushed by a boulder in an earthquake-induced rockfall and another person died of a heart attack. More than 1,000 homes and commercial buildings were damaged. Maximum intensity VII in downtown Klamath Falls and at the Oregon Institute of Technology about three kilometers north of downtown. Three highways leading to Klamath Falls were temporarily closed because of rockfalls or concern about possible damage to bridges. Rockfalls and rockslides occurred in roadcuts and on steep slopes throughout the epicentral region. Ground cracks in fill material were observed at several locations in the area. Felt in southern Oregon as far north as Eugene and in northern California as far south as Redding.

September 21 05:45:33
Additional damage in the Klamath Falls area. At some locations northwest of Klamath Falls this earthquake produced higher intensities than the event which occurred at 03:28.

An aftershock of M5.4 occurred on December 04, 1993, at 22:15:19 UTC, which caused additional damage (VII) at Klamath Falls. It also caused slight damage (VI) at Tulelake, California.

There's been enough bad news lately, so here's something upbeat: Scientists are on the verge of perfecting a beer that can withstand the pressure of zero gravity so it can be served to future space tourists

I haven't checked the link yet, as I am at work, and my home system is down for the moment, but I envision people floating about using belching to propel themselves around. Where do you sign up?

It would. Even though the air quality would suffer, it would be hilarious to watch.:)

Does anyone else have days at work where all they want to do is go home and drink beer? It's happening again. The worst thing is that I have an errand followed by some drywall work before I can relax enough, no sctratch that, I can have a beer while I'm doing the drywall work.

Cool! I'm leaving now, and should be home in a couple of hours. I will enable Internet for my laptop while I guzzle and work. :)

I guess this type of work isn't so bad. I re-mudded the sheetrock seams, and am waiting for everything to dry while I test the refrigerator. I do hate having my main rig down until I get the wall sanded, primed, and painted. I hope I can start reassembling Piggy tomorrow, but it is looking more like Friday. Rats.
