09/19/2010.
You gift was assigned to the following areas:

SETI@home - $100.00

Your confirmation number is:
63037

That should cover the confusion over coffee funds last month. .. or close to it.
The idea of someone installing a new server without adequate caffiene levels
I find frightening.

And.. that should empty out my donation abilities for some time.

An impressive list, my friends.

Need someone in the staff to wave their magic wand and say "okay we have enough!" I am suspecting they do but.. keep it pouring in until then?

No.. but the server can. After that.. it would be nice if they were actually paid there too.

And for this thread.. there can be enough. There will come time for another cause.

10s and 20s are great. The crunching survives because of small and large crunching, same is for funding.

I mean.. what kind of an idiot drops 100 bucks at at time on .... oh wait... that would be... er.. Anyway. 10-20 is sensible and they really do add up.

LMAO, I once donated 50 bucks to see what shoes KenzieB would buy. I will again this year to, If she does it again.

I think what happend this weekend is special. All those little donations did add up to a big chunk of cash. And we see a new crop of green stars.

Well done to all.

Thank You All, for what YOU have Accomplished!

As one of the Original Fundraisers, I do know that people sometimes have incomplete knowledge, thinking that the fundraiser can recieve part of the funds. That is NOT True. UCB is handling the money and would not allow that to happen. At a point in time a couple of users made a couple of Donations and in the comments Marked them for "Beer for the Staff." While it was appreciated, it did not fly.
This is one of the problems with getting PayPal in place (political/financial restrictions).

Thank You Again for an Outstanding Job!

Pappa Tips his hat.

Please consider a Donation to the Seti Project.

I am done here........

Believe it or not, I have gotten some rotten PMs about my ATTITUDE........and accusing me of misdoing.........

Implying that I was making jest of those who could not afford a $100.00 gift.
And that somehow I was making money offa this fund drive. How could I EVEN????????

Nothing could be further from the truth, and I thought I had made that very clear here.

You give me a thousand $1.00 donations, and I will make it happen, somehow.......

Even if it comes out of my own kitties' kibble bowls.......

So do not EVER accuse me again of doing anything in other than Seti's best interests here.

I thought I had done good, but I am crying now.

Mark, you did a fantastic job. And if you doubt and don't find a way to get
out of this dark, groundless Hole - take a look in this Thread and you know
what have moved.

Thanks, Helli.

It's all good, I got over it.

And I would like to give one more round of thank yous to each and every one who participated here. It was very rewarding to present the need and have all of you respond in such a big way.

Thank You all.

I just wanted to drop in a clear personal thank you to everyone that joined in
here. You have all accomplished giving the SETI@home project a big boost, and we should all benefit from it. Times are tight for most everyone, and in spite of that it appears we managed to get an unlikely boost from an extremely varied and disorganized group.

Now the next hard part.. waiting.
