Give credit where credit is due. Mark, when you're good you're very good: but when you're bad you're a pain in the donkey. In this case, you've gone above and beyond the call and congratulations are called for. Well done. I do not fight fascists because I think I can win. I fight them because they are fascists. Welcome back, Mark! I'm trying to get the full total from reading the thread. It's easier than figuring it out from the database since there's no way to separate these donations from others (Other than the $1000 donations). I think that it's $9000 including the donations of less than $1000. Can anyone check my math? Where it ends up will set the amount of RAM that comes with it. Thanks for all your donations! Mark, I second the new server be named Oscar! Ah ha. I was right about the possible name. Nice to see Mark back, too. If the current 'protocol' is to name servers on a Sci-Fi theme, thats easy....Oscar as in Oscar Goldman or the Oscar as per the old cartoons in the 60's (Astronut?). I can also remember that earlier this year there was a cat called Oscar which was, I think, nick-named The Bionic Cat, due to it having it's (back?) legs replaced with prosthetics following some sort of accident. However, yes, it is up to SSL, in the end. I must say, I'm hugely impressed with the raising of that amount of money. Not just one server....but two! Good job its not my cash though - I'd wait for the sales, or look for a 'buy one, get one free' offer ! lol Don't take life too seriously, as you'll never come out of it alive! |
