Congrats Kevin that's a pretty major one. Mine isn't so major, I broke into the top 10 on sign up day stats, and the upper 10,000 for the Seti@Home project. This places me in the upper 5,000 for boinc combined! I also achieved my second highest credit day ever on the 30th with 124,121. Steadily climbing my way up, I should have stayed crunching all along for the past 11 years I would be so much higher up, but I guess it's still a personal battle no matter where you are on the list! Oh I noticed that performance hit long ago - I always just show active tasks or minimize the client altogether. This seems to be more pronounced on systems running client editions of Windows - not the server versions that I typically use. Must have something to do with the scheduler of the OS. The way I remember it, if you are showing all tasks, minimizing isn't good enough. It will still be refreshing each second.
