Not a fan of ales.. they tend to taste too "hoppy", this rules out most of the american microbrews. I am not opposed to imports but I have to be honest.. I hate carrying out the empty bottles.. they get heavy! Alaskan Amber Alt: lovely flavor.. but again the bottle issue. Fosters.. decent lager(not exceptional but good) at least comes in cans.. Sapporo, Cans are available but everyone seems to carry very limited stock. I have considered kegs.. but.. then I have a bunch to finish before it goes bad. I just got a ping from a partner out around Grand Island, NE letting me know their NOAA lightning strike detectors are pumping data in faster than the computers can process the data. I kinda think that they'll weaken in the 150 miles between me and where they are now. Still, it's a pretty moist, unstable batch of air over us now with moderate shear, so I suspect we'll at least get some basic thunderstorms and maybe some small hail before morning. ID: 1017073 ·
