When things get back to normal with you, I may have a couple too. I've kinda' quit drinking because I'm on some narcotics the doc gave me for my back. No worries--the narcotics will clean out your system. |

Hmmm, on my bottles it says Alcohol may intensify the effect...I thought that meant they work better with beer. Official Abuser of Boinc Buttons... And no good credit hound!

Hey Steve, yah gotta eat those veggies. There is so much beer out there, it will take a loooong time to try it all. You need to be in tip top shape to get through this. I find a lighter ale goes good with anything a little tart, like a salad with a vinegar based dressing. Light ales are also good with spicy food, like a vegetable curry. A good lager goes well with fresh veggies, anything with a little snap to it like fresh pesto or something with some onions in it. Also good with a tomato sauce on pasta. The dark beers are for winter time, with a nice hot vegetable dish like a casserole covered in cheese. Well, OK, be careful with the cheese. But you get my drift.

There's one of those micro-brews made down in Tempe called "Kilt-Lifter Ale"; pic on the cans shows a person's legs wearing a traditional kilt & Sporran. |

I agree SC! It's been days since we've had Steve here. Well, I am out of the hospital again, this time for good! I have been worn out, but my last antibiotic will be done with tonight. I haven't had a beer in 3 weeks! I feel so far behind the curve in so many ways. Anyway I feel much better, and I hope all of you are feeling as great as I do. I care about each and every one of you, and want you all to be healthy! It's back to work for me now. :) Steve Warning, addicted to SETI crunching! Crunching as a member of GPU Users Group. Have you tried the mixed case of Artisan Beer/Ales from COSTCO--$18.95 for a case of 24. I recommend these highly --as good as most foreign premium beers at a good price. At least 1/3 less than others of this ilk. |

Oh jeez, Steve.... I feel great, and I have finished the antibioitics! It will be a couple of days, and I can down my first beer in weeks! So much catching up to do, and a lot of learning. Even my cruncher ran dry as I have just not been up to babysitting it before the current outage. I want to take pictures of my snakes, and post them in the Critter Cafe. Actually there are dozens of things I want to do, so I'll get to them one at a time! I must admit I can't wait for that first beer! Steve Warning, addicted to SETI crunching!
