Seeing its only 10:30am, its not beer thirty yet. I hate sticking to rules. However, as the song goes, Its 5 o'clock somewhere!

I had so much fun last night, I was confined to the couch today. I'm finally starting to feel a bit better. I think I went through 15 or 16 beers. What a cool way to all be in a pub, from anywhere in the world. The really neat thing is that this pub is open as long as the SETI servers are up. :)

After 15 or 16 beers, how can you tell if the servers are up or down?

Good point. Worthy of further investigation this evening.

You might be right. I didn't have much trouble falling asleep. (Or passing out) :)

It's strange that after a night of drinking you wake up with Mount Vesuvious in your head, The Sahara Desert in your mouth, and the Atlantic Ocean in your bladder!

My biggest problem with a night of world-class drinking is going home at 2 with a "10" and waking up at 10 with a "2".

Or discovering that the "10" was just a "4" carrying a six-pack.

Evildirk, you make me miss german beer! My grandmother would hide some in a package everytime she'd send one. I just LOVE german beer. Unfortunately she passed March of last year, and this year I lost my mother on mothers day. But, we do have a German store here. I just might visit it tomorrow and see if I can find some good german beer. :-) Although, my neighbor is real good about making home brewed hefeweisen, which is one of my FAVORITE beers. :-)

I loved Michelob Classic Dark and Henry Weinhards Classic Dark.

I cannot get them any more as Michelob stopped making theirs and Henry's is made infrequently and not usually shipped to Arizona.

So I have to make do with either Fat Tire or Amber Boch.

I nearly cried when I couldn't get Michelob Dark anymore. What has gone wrong with your country?

If you can find it, a very good, very local, dark is 10W30, from Neustadt. That our Neustadt, not the old Neustadt. Nouveauneustadt, as it were.

Starting the evening on a nice spanish red to go with dinner, probably move to rye (Walkers, of course) with a Moosehead chaser, and Count Basie played very loud, as the evening unfolds. Here's mud in your eye gang!
