You can also see some good information under Statistics. You can see it on the upper right of just about any seti page. The top teams, participants, and computers are listed. Steve Warning, addicted to SETI crunching! Crunching as a member of GPU Users Group. GPUUG Website |

Try this link: http://boincstats.com/stats/user_stats.php?pr=sah&st=0&hosts=0&ti=0&co=&date=&or=16 That's top users sorted by RAC. Click the little 'down arrow' on the other columns to sort by that column. |

who is returning the most rac for seti@home No stats site required, you can do this right here... http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/top_users.php However, you can also do it here... http://www.teamocuk.co.uk/sprojectpart.php?p=SAH&o=rd I haven't had time to do any more than firefighting for the last several years, so it doesn't carry a lot of projects or cross-project stuff, but it still just about works, and answers your question. Enjoy! :) Stats site - http://www.teamocuk.co.uk - still alive and (just about) kicking. |

But did you finally find the stats you were looking for as you wished them? Or was there something else you could not locate? "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

search able enough it doesn't take all day to get to my numbers No search on mine but a bit of skill (and knowing the site) means I don't need one. http://www.teamocuk.co.uk/spart.php?p=SAH&u=151484 Click around the tabs at the top - it'll stay on your account. Now that this is open again I did get somewhat what I was looking for Some of the suggestions were list of all seti@home including inactive The lists on the Seti@home pages were for currently active but only list the top 10,000 20 per page unless you fiddle with the calling http site extensions What I was really trying to compile was a table / chart of big crunchers those above 50,000 rac per day , those above 25,000 per day, those above 10,000 per day, etc Thanks to all that posted replies |

The official way of getting that information - that is used by all other other stats sites, and is kindest to the SETI servers - is to visit http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/stats/. The host data you want is in host.gz - other information is avilable for team.gz and user.gz. Note that the compressed version of the hosts file is over four hundred megabytes in size. When you de-compress it, it will certainly be over two gigabytes, nearer three gig or possibly even more. (It was just over two gig when I downloaded it two years ago, and used it to generate this plot). That data reduction exercise was done using standard office tools like Access and Excel, with a bit of Visual Basic - plus lots of spare time, and a moderately powerful desktop PC. If you do it that way, you can get the exact analysis you're looking for (and any others that catch your eye while you're waiting for the progress bar to reach 1%....). The advantage of working from the raw files, from the project's point of view, is that they only have to run the massive database query that produces the raw data once per day: once it's done, the downloading of a mere 500 MB (all three files combined) is a mere speck in the ocean for servers of the power that SETI has at its disposal. But to re-do the queries, a page at a time, by 'scraping' the website, is behaviour that puts much more strain on the database servers (the ones they're trying to use for science during the 3-day outages), and you would find your IP address being blocked from further access if you tried it too often. |

Here's what i was able to glean from the seti@home pages You might want to do that again in a couple of weeks, as speaking for me, my numbers dropped about 18,500 since all the mess happened. I'm sure that holds true for others as well. They are finally on the way back up, and I should have a rig with at least a 40,000 RAC. Assuming I can reload when the servers come back on line. I really don't know where mine will top out. It was at 38,500 and still gaining about 1000 points a day before it went into free fall. Steve Warning, addicted to SETI crunching! Crunching as a member of GPU Users Group. GPUUG Website |

No quite what you are after but this link second graph down shows the number of users who have received credit in the last month (ie active users) and the one below it showing the total number of people signed up. So just over 15% of people signed up are active. |
