my cheap quad ran out last night so I started it full on with Primegrid PPSE LLR nice short WU's. It makes for a decent backup project. My main machine still has a couple days left. In a rich man's house there is no place to spit but his face. Diogenes Of Sinope |

Have there been any info on when the mb splitters will be back on? Dunno, but I suspect they are biding their time. 'Awaiting validation' has dropped from 7 million something to 5 million 440k. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

Have there been any info on when the mb splitters will be back on? Anything before monday would be a pleasant surprise. I have been watching the numbers click by from one bottleneck to another. As long as the purging gets caught up without overloading.. Things do seem to be smoothing out. I too am "running on fumes". But I understand too why they are letting the glut that crashed things last time move along. Janice |

The splitters are getting back online it seems, getting some new tasks. Strangely the completion time is the old one, so instead of 20 mins it says 22 hours, as if they don't follow the new line. |

26/06/2010 00:14:17 SETI@home Requesting new tasks for GPU Not sure but it's funny that mine is only getting work for CPU, all my GPU requests have been turned down, been using the rescheduler to get GPU work. Official Abuser of Boinc Buttons... And no good credit hound! |

Give it time Hiamps, Mine was just the opposite, got GPU but no CPU work. It finally happened with a whole herd of new CPU work. PROUD MEMBER OF Team Starfire World BOINC |

I actually got a WU, after the better part of a week's drought. The BOINC Manager claims that it will take 26+ hours to process it, but as the tough who coughed while he ploughed the dough said, I'll believe it when I see it. (Apologies to T. S. Geisel.) |

My rig finally downloaded enough to sustain it for several hours! It hasn't done that since before the changes went into effect. It was very hungry! Steve Warning, addicted to SETI crunching! Crunching as a member of GPU Users Group. GPUUG Website |

So far all I've downloaded is a larger Quota number, It's at 116 now and still no cpu or gpu work yet, I'll see after midnight what happens. Savoir-Faire is everywhere! The T1 Trust, T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, America's First HST |

I just got 18 tasks, they say they will take 20 hours each!!!!!! Great! That will keep you crunching through the 3 day shut down next week. |

Not sure but it's funny that mine is only getting work for CPU, all my GPU requests have been turned down, been using the rescheduler to get GPU work. This could be the reason. I know it's hard not to move units to the GPU's (been doing it myself) but it does screw up the allocations at the server end. I'm finding the rigs that have had units moved to the GPU's get a lot of CPU units and few if any GPU work. The rigs I've been able to keep my fingers out of get more GPU than CPU work but it's still only a few at a time. Brodo |
